Ordinances for CHICAGO WESTERN SUBURBS?

In Westmont, you're required to keep your coop 150 ft away from adjacent residences.

We're moving to the area next fall in order for my girlfriend to go to Northwestern, so I've been tracking them all down. Evanston itself has a lot of regulations, $50 hen coop fee, register with Illinois Dept Agri Livestock Premises Registration, 4ft per hen in run, for license: proof of notice to all adjancent landowners+building permits+proof of erection of yard and coop+submit to City of Evanston Public Health Director, no apts or condos. Coop 10ft from building, in back yard, 3+ft from property line, and you have to have between 2 and 6 chickens.

They're also allowed in Oak Park (max 2), Naperville (any), Worth (max 2), Northbrook (max 3), and not restricted by ordinance in Highland Park, Arlington Heights, and Mt Prospect. I'd call those places to see if they're not allowed, or not disallowed.

Chickens are disallowed by ordinance in the following places:
Skokie
Wilmette
Glenview
Lincolnwood
Nles
Morton Grove
Wheeling
Des Plaines
Schaumburg
Elgin
Woodridge

some relevant excerpts from village codes:

Hinsdale:
5-6-4: PROHIBITED ANIMALS: It shall be unlawful to keep or maintain cattle, swine, sheep or goats in the village. No other animals may be maintained in the village for any purpose other than as pets except as otherwise permitted in pet shops and animal hospitals. (Ord., 4-16-1974)

Oak Brook (zoned residential):
B. Noncommercial pursuit of agriculture: 1) on lots not less than ten (10) acres in area, provided structures and land used for the shelter, feeding, keeping, propagating, culture of poultry and livestock shall not be less than one hundred feet (100') from the nearest lot line, and any other structure or land used in the pursuit of agriculture shall not be less than one hundred feet (100') from the nearest street line, and not less than fifty feet (50') from the nearest interior and rear lot line; and 2) on lots less than ten (10) acres in area, provided such uses involve only the growing of farm and garden crops and nursery stock and no accessory structures are used exclusively for such uses, except conservatories or greenhouses of the types customarily attached to dwellings

Clarendon Hills:
D.Animals Prohibited: No person may own, harbor, or keep on any premises in the village, any horse, cow, pig, or any other farm animal.

For what it's worth, any unicorporated area would abide by DuPage County code, which does not specifically forbid or allow chickens. It does say this though:
E. No person shall hold a greased pig contest.

Also, Downers Grove allows chickens (up to 4), but coop must be 50+ft from all of your property lines.

For Hinsdale, it doesn't say anything about chickens though, does that mean that they are allowed???
