By the time September rolls around I might have some fertile millie de fleur hatching eggs...

as for wants I don't know yet.

Right now I have no idea what I might have extra of in the fall. I also want a couple of nigerian dwarf does (anybody have any to trade for an alpaca or 2?)

We do have alpaca fiber if anybody is a spinner. I'm having 50 chicks delivered this next week. I'm going to sell a couple and then see what I have left over. They mostly should be pullets.

Brian, your pictures are great!

Oregonjen's husband reminded me today about the Cottage Grove fairgrounds. Supposedly they have a nice building with parking for a low cost. Just thought I'd throw that idea out there since we are looking at southern places.

OK ...

Brian,

That is my late Lavender orp in the picture "Flash". He came from Hjink's lines(Jodys lines) and he was taken by a huge raccoon. I do have some of his babies and then some from other breeders that I hatched and have gotten, but they are still babies yet, and yes from really amazing lines. Next year I will sell lavender hatching eggs, but as of now I only have babies running around. LOL!!

K7! Hey girl

Sorry to tell you but they are D'Uccle's.

sorry my spelling is off and please forgive me.

Take care all!

Hi,
I haven't been on here in a while (goat kidding and milking season) but maybe a day use campground might work well? There is a group spot (huge) at Cottage Grove Lake, 10 minutes off the freeway. It is a pay, overnight spot, but I would be happy to talk to the ranger if we wanted it for a day and see what their regs are?

We will have an assortment of birds available to bring at that time, including a young male peacock, 3 types of quail. Ameracauna laying hens, cuckoo Marans laying hens and pair and trios, frizzle chicks, Silkie chicks, cochin chicks (Bantam SQ in splash, blue, white, mottled, buff, black), pheasants juveniles, SQ Ameracaunas in Blue, Black or Splash, 2 Silver Sebright roosters, Guinea keets in lavender, blue, buff, buff dundotte, Royal purple, pearl, white, light blue and other colors. Can also bring breeds from these on request, with a minimum of 5 chicks; Blue Marans (good lines, feathering on legs), Barnvelders, Speckled Sussex, and oh I am probably forgetting something. We have pigeons too. Oh ya, we have rare Auburn turkey poults and Royal Palm Poults and juveniles.

I am looking for Muscovy ducks or ducklings, Silver Laced Wyandotte Hens, RIR Hens, Speckled Sussex hens/ pullets, possibly one cockerel (mine is evil), black copper Marans from reputable lines, white or pied peafowl, pied guineas, Sumatras or Yokohamas or Phoenix' from good lines.

If anyone is interested in swapping or buying anything I have please let me know as early as possible.
I am hatching now.

Sound like lots of fun!
Jen

I think I can speak for others when I say "go for it Jen!". At this point we are still trying to find a place that is legal and cheap, so whatever you can throw into the mix is great. I need to remember to stay away from your trailer at the swap...you have too many things I want
