Oregon Fall Poultry Swap - October 22 - Corvallis @ the Fairgrounds!!!

OK now I know that I am excited about the hatching, but come on! I just had the strangest thing happen.
After the thrill of finding the egg hatching, I headed back to putting all the chickie babes to bed. The last feeding, making sure everyone has water and a clean bed, etc. Ok, Angus has always been attracted to me. He was the one that slept with me when I first got him. I didn't know how much he 'loved' me till tonight. When I reached in to get his food bowl, I thought he was attacking me. BUT!! (I think I was raped!) What I thought was biting, was him grabbing my thumb. He then 'mounted' my hand while hanging on to my thumb. What happened next would makes us send the children to their rooms. I didn't know if I should be shocked, happy, demand cash, or smoke a cigarette!
Now how common is this??! And why didn't anyone mention this!!

Yep, happens all the time to me but not with my Seramas (they all have enough ladies to keep them happy) - with Jack my RIR one-eye, cross beak. Guess he's not that popular with the ladies lol

Angus is my smallest serama. I am trying to keep him with Amanda. Amanda was with Frankie and Jonnie, but she didn't like it (cried and screamed all day) and on top of that, Jonnie is very jealous and fought with Amanda also. Jonnie is jealous of me also. She throws a hissie if I take Frankie from the cage. She loves just sitting and grooming on Frankie. She does it all day long.
The stories of our seramas. I think we could write a soap oprera from their antics.

They sound exactly like Zephyr and Dina. They will never allow anyone else to ever be with them in their cage and cannot be separated. Dina makes the most awful screeching noises when I pick up Zephyr to love it. They are completely inseparable. It's silly but cute at the same time!

Do we have a baby this morning?
