There will be more than one person bringing rabbits, and the more that bring rabbits, the more people I will tell that are looking for rabbits! I think she's got a decent chance

Most definitely! The more variety we have the better! And sorry about the freezer...that just sucks!

Bringing:

-Chanterelle Mushroom Pesto (depends on Chanterelles popping up in time) in pint jars
-Silver Phoenix roo, McMurray hatch April '08. Handles being penned well, no people aggression and is good to the hens.
-Blue Andalusian mixed roo - beautiful! Dad may be Cuckoo Marans Blue splash, or a Salmon Faverolle mix.
-3/4 Salmon Faverolle, 1/4 Dominique - sweet temperament, looks like S.Fav with funny squashed, bumpy comb (better for freezing nights)
ONLY IF THERE IS SERIOUS INTEREST IN THEM:
- 2 Egyptian Fayoumis hens from McMurray hatch April '08
- ?4? Runner/Cayuga/Magpie mix Drakes, and 2 pure Ancona Drakes

***can I bring 3 Diamond Doves if I haven't found them a home by then?

Wants:

Salmon Faverolle pullet or young hen
Local grain contacts - barley, peas, oats, wheat

I would be interested in your Chanterelle pesto if you bring it....

It's gonna be a long night. I went out to check on my broody, and I could hear a chick, but couldn't FIND it. Turns out it was clear across the pen, in a cold little lump and couldn't even move. It's eyes aren't open either. Ugh! How the heck did it GET there???

I picked it up and placed it in my unsuspecting husband's nice warm hands (because he dreads it each time I drag a "poor little thing" into the house and I secretly wanted him to bond:lol:)
Only one other pip that I could see so far. Good grief, and I was planning on going to bed early.

hehe Just got my new Brinsea mini advanced. DH was ok with it as only hatches 7 eggs (silly man). I of course set it up with my 6 latest pet quality blue marans to, you know, like test it

I mean, seriously,
idunno.gif
one can always use another laying hen and I just finished off all the chicken in the freezer,
big_smile.png
I did mutter something to DH about them being "for the swap" I think. Now, if I can just convince him I need to "test" the little giant again, hmmmm
lol.png
So, either I'll be good, oooorrrr I'll have chicks at the swap, pray my sanity kicks in

Your post cracks me up for two reasons. 1. I keep telling my husband that all new chicks are for the swap, and 2. I intend to swap them for other things like... more CHICKS. Bahahaha!

I'm gonna get grounded for sure.
