And I hear you about the class reunion stuff. My 25th will be coming up in a couple years...yikes!

There is a campground right at the fairgrounds and walking distance (really short walking distance) to the building. There are several hotels/motels in Corvallis too. Here is the link to the campgrounds http://www.bentoncountyfair.net/oaks/ If you decide to get a spot, make sure you mention the poultry show. They love us and are excited to have this event there that they seem to be handing out deals at the fair office so you never know!

Are you able to put up a divider (wire, something like that) so they can see but not actually get to each other? That usually helps to get them used to being around the others without fears of pecking or bullying. If that doesn't work or you don't have the ability to put up a divider, you might have to make a temporary area for them. I ended up putting Babette and Nuria in a brooder with some much younger girls just because they were so mellow the other pullets in their age group were really picking on them. They love being in with the speckled sussex and BCM pullets (who are about 2 months younger!).

I think I might try that today. It's my SS that are picking on all the other guys.

Totally off topic, but I wanted to share my daughter's prom dress especially since some of you met her last Saturday. She just left for her first prom...with no curfew

She's so pretty and well spoken anyway...the dress is just the icing. Gorgeous, BTW. Oh, and I see the infamous 18th year tat. I remember when she got that!
