I have two people so far that are being guinea pigs for shipped eggs. One lives in WA the other in NM. They are getting them for free, just paying shipping in return for lots of information and pictures. I'll be doing test hatches like this up until September 1st when I figure I will be good to go for selling them on here and Ebay.

and Lucy and Linda and DaVinci.......

I know! She has absolutely beautiful birds. Several of mine are from her lines via another BYC member (her original birds came from Juliette) and they are very nice. My Mille Fleur pullet is from her, both my frizzled and silkied cockerels are from her and one of my tri-colored pullets too who has this amazing stance. Of course I am prepared to be disappointed when I don't win any of the birds lol. The last time I got in on the bidding, I was outbid and then some very quickly. Some of her birds went for over $100. I just can't do that....sigh. My husband doesn't know I'm bidding on these as it is

I thought I had snuck those baby chicks in and hubby knew nothing. He never said a word. Then sunday we were at McMenimens with friends and something was brought up about chickens, and he started saying something about my 'new' baby chicks. I just looked at him and coyly stated,

She is a beauty! I'm really hoping my Gemma turns out close to those markings. I love Mabel but the member who is bidding on her never gives up an auction lol
