WOW, that would be awesome...Grants pass is far though!! ahhhh!

Do you know if there is any way that anyone would be coming up in this direction from there...like to Eugene, or something!?!?! Oh, I just don't think my husband would understand why I NEED those. Shoot.
Do you know if they are chicks or pullets or any other info about them??

you know i really dont know ill find out everything for you. He gets off work soon so ill let you know as soon as possible. Have you tried looking at the feed stores? I also live in grants pass and there selling Americana chicks at our store here. I would also check out craigslist for eugene, they usually have many adds about chickens.

Yes, I have checked all the feed stores in our area...Albany, Corvallis, Lebanon and such...I should try Eugene! Thanks for the tip about craigslist as well, I will get right on that. I would like to get them ASAP because I just picked up two RIR day olds and want them to be around the same age.

Thanks so much!! (and do let me know if you hear about what those in your area have!)

I just checked Eugene Craigslist and they don't have any chickens that I can see..only roos.
Does anyone else know of a local oregon hatchery with Americanas?????

I live in Springfield, and would be happy to help.

BTW-- totally off topic--I was checking out your website when you introduced yourself on the Oregon thread. I loved the 'conversations' on your blog, and read them aloud to two of my kids. They especially loved the one about oliver getting taller. Yesterday I mentioned that my sons friend was having a growth spurt, I said "he's getting huge! He's taller than his mom now." And DS laughed and said, "No he isn't, he bites." we all LOL'd
