Nah, just wondering if we can crash the party! And, how about a margarita cheesecake and can you drizzle some Gran mariner over the top?

Wait till you serve the cheesecake to drizzle the Grand Marnier, and ignite it for a dramatic effect. it will make a little caramelization on top and create a rich, almost nutty flavor in the drizzle.

I have a little kitchen in me!

Putting that one on the list too! I have the Cheesecake Bible (seriously, lol that's the name of it) right here in front of me, marking pages

LMAO I forgot, it is 6 now!!! YAY!!!! I can't wait!

Cloverleaf~ Congrats!!! That is so neat, My father helped to remodel that when I was young and he took me with him, I loved wondering around, I had free range of it all for days, nothing was off limits, it was great fun! I will have to take my kids once they have your birds there!

Bruleed cheesecake is also super ridiculous! I used to make individual cakes bake and. Freeze them and brûlée them straight from the freezer. Strawberry balsamic was amazing Bruleed!

My kids are starting a project for the swap. They are going to make an organic treat mix for chickens and will sell it in zip lock baggies.
Do you think they will sell?

We are using wheat, corn, triticale, oily sunflower seeds, rye, flax and green peas. I will have to go measure everything out and see how much the ingredients cost before I can figure out a price. Should have it later today. We had planned on doing sandwich size baggies. Should I make some gallon sized?

All this talk of little items to sell, I have a question. My hobby in the past has been jewelry. When I started discovering chickens, I started looking for chicken items in the beading market. Now I have a few things. What about little trinket things of jewelry? Like earrings, necklaces, and such with chickens? Would that be worth getting ready and bringing with me to the swap? It wouldn't take me a lot of time. What does anyone think?
Thanks for input,
Paula
