Anyone interested in white silkies from Amy Piehl. they are old enough to go outside but nope dont know if they are boys or girls yet.
all sold to me as pet quality
The nicest one i have is white doesnt have adequate mid toe feathers, i do not keep my caged though

One is blue, has some white on its toes.

One is white is also preety has a double toenail on one of its toes

And one other that has a double toenail, i might keep this one even though its white because its so sweet.

I am asking $20 each. This is what they came too after shipping them too me.

I do have some photos, they are also wing banded.

ALSO have buff pullets from Bobbi, they are cute as can be pet quality, one has 5 toes on one leg and 4 toes on the other. The other girl has 4 toes on each foot and a single comb which cant be seen with all the fluff!
$20 for the one with the single comb, $25 for the other one. I got these in the mail when they were little. i am not into buffs or the whites.

Bringing...

Older birds
Dominique cockerel, October 2010 hatching, sweet little fellow, pet/backyard quality
Dominique cockerel, July 2010 hatching, would love his own hens! May match well with the right hens - we have two of his full brothers, don't need a third of that line.
Blue Orpington cockerel, ask Rhonda about him at the swap, very nice bird

March 18th chicks - all have Marek's vaccines
Several Easter Eggers (Americauna rooster over good laying hens)
Marans cross chicks (x Australorp hens, some black and some blue)
Dominique cockerels, pet/backyard quality - comb defects
Dominique pullets, pet/backyard quality - comb defects

April 20th-21st chicks - no Marek's vaccines
10 black Americauna chicks, from show quality lines, talk to Rhonda at the swap on where she got these.
Dominique cockerels from our two breeding pens. These chicks may turn out very nice indeed, you could get a nice show bird out of these pens.

Hatching eggs
Easter Eggers (Americauna roosters over nice egg laying hens - lots of pretty eggs!)
Orpingtons - BBS I believe, Rhonda knows
Americaunas - Blacks, show quality lines, should be really nice
Dominiques - from our two breeding pens, we just hatched 96% and 100% on these pens!!!

Other
3 Havanna rabbits - two pedigreed, one pet quality, ask Rhonda about them at the swap, very nice lines

The price will be right on all our cockerels - these Dominiques are a FABULOUS heritage, free-range meat bird. Just do incredible on much less food, and are very vigorous and hardy. We sell pullets of the Dominiques (sex-lined) to local feedstores so we just have to hatch more than we can use. We will happily be eating lots of delicious chicken this summer!

Picking up...
Brutus - Serama cockerel
Mille Fleur Bantam Cochin Pullet
Starts/seeds from Ayeupchuck?

Still want...
A few fruit and veggie starts, I'm in love with heirloom, drought or pest-resistant varieties would be nice.
HATCHING EGGS! Heirloom American and English eggs, nice quality birds please. Hope to sell some quality chicks at the end of May. Willing to hatch some out for you in trade of eggs - I'll hatch you a dozen and us two dozen, we split hatched chicks 33/67%. I'll meet you with them at the show in Centralia or between here (cen oregon) and there.
ONE turkey poult - a friend has asked I pick one up for her, for eating.

Sigh... please, God don't let me bring home any other birds...

.... Adding some photos of the July 2010 cockerel that we're bringing. He has really nice clear barring, and his tail should grow out very nicely as he fully matures. He has a nice wide tail spread that should improve a lot of hens. He was one of the low men on the totem pole at the time we were taking these photos, so he's taking a rather submissive posture to the other rooster's crowing, but you can see his tail angle is nice, good width and length of saddle, just beautiful barring, and a nice V to his tail. There is nothing pinched about this guy, but he's still correct weight for a Dominique cockerel of his age. Honestly, his head is probably the first thing I'd work on with this guy, and that's only worth a few points on the scale and is easier to fix than type and tails, so he'll point you in the right direction if you're looking for a started Dom cockerel in the NW.

Hello,

We're planning on attending tomorrows meet. Will anyone be bringing any Heritage Turkeys? We'd prefer: Bourbon Red, Royal Palm, Slate, Narragansett. Also, we'd purchase 5 poults. You may respond directly to me

. I'm looking forward to meeting fellow Oregonians

Thank you!

I know there's a couple people that can bring Narragansett eggs, but I don't know about poults for sure...the list is on page 263.
