Oregon Spring Poultry Swap April 23, 2011 in Canby!!!

I have several LF Salmon Faverolles cockerels hatching. Many of them NEED to go before the swap if anyone is interested, please contact me ASAP. Thanks!!

Holly Cow, that is quite a list this time! Cloverleaf, I miss you to. I hardly have money for gas right now, but would love to see you if you can make it down to Dallas or maybe even Salem... Give me a call, lets catch up. Hugs to all.

Exciting 2 days at our house

We hatched 2 Serama babies yesterday and the 3rd one today

.One dark one and two light colored ones. Only had 3 hatch out of 10 shipped eggs, but we are very happy with that since this was the first time with Seramas.
Getting excited about the swap. I really enjoy reading the lists of what people will have and want. No eggs yet from those darn Turkeys - even though I've told them to get busy

But I am totally planning on requesting the day off so I can come.

Will not be bringing any chicks or eggs unless someone requests them soon, we've got plans for our incubators

WANT :

A sweet little bantam pullet or some pullet chicks for my niece. A pet, but would like a quality little bird nonetheless. Perhaps a mille fleur or splash cochin or BLR Wyandotte? Again, only a bantam please. She'll have a WONDERFUL home with her two other little hens, laying little eggs in their little coop, they also get free range several days a week. They are totally spoiled on kitchen goodies.

Only looking for a really healthy, disease and pest free bird. Not looking to bring home mites or anything that might make her other little hens sick. Adult supervised care, but my niece does a really good job with her little hens making sure they get clean food and water and their coop stays nice. She might show in 4H someday, but she hasn't talked much about it so I'm not sure. For now, they're just her beautiful little pets that she loves to hang out with and have sit on her lap. She loves collecting her egg a day (one of her hens has never laid for her

.. maybe this spring?) and is very proud of them!

I have bantams but they are not pure bred...other than my Seramas. They are mutts from my flock and will be inside my home till the swap or they find a new home so healthy and disease free, definitely no mites. They have all been handled a lot since hatching and that will continue till they leave. I will be posting updated photos of them on my link in the have list tomorrow.
