7 little mille fleur cochin babies hatched yesterday! I most likely will be bringing them all to the swap, though I might keep 1 or 2. They will be 5 weeks by then, should be feathering out nicely.

LOL Tallyho, I did the same thing the other day and came home with some cochins, even though I have waaaay too many eggs in the incubator, I just want a big variety of hens so I keep getting eggs and pick out one or two and then sell the rest, but the feed store got me, and I bought chicks instead of selling chicks!

I went again and I resisted! (They didn't have my feed yesterday.) What did you bring home?

I am so glad my feed store has canceled their orders for the next few weeks (can't sell enough chicks)! However, I think I could resist even if they hadn't - I've reached "chick overload"
