What did you do? Tick off the Washington crowd?

I wouldn't know. I can't follow the Washington forum. Way too many notes and very rarely anything to do with poultry. I can't get interested in 10 pages of what painkiller everyone is using.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving . I don't get my Thanksgiving dinner until Sunday. I've got a home raised goose resting in the fridge. I sure hope the family likes goose. I put a lot of money into raising them and they are a bit of work to process.

On the plus side, it is quieter around here with 6 fewer geese.

Oh wait..... you need a new place to hang out? Are you being run out of town on a rail?

Central Oregon is nice. It's a good place to raise poultry, nice and dry and sunny. I'm sure the area could use a clever iron worker. Probably some of the shops in Sisters would take your stuff to sell. You know, in case you are looking for a new place to live.

Real estate prices are half of what they were and interest rates are rock bottom. It's a good time to move here.

Howdy all. Taking a much needed break from the Thanksgiving meal I am preparing today. Bird should be out of the oven in about 45 minutes or so, dressing and sweet potatoes are ready to go in, salads made. AND just realized I forgot to bring the cheesecake over that was intended for dessert.

(Cooking at the in-laws house, as I have NO counter space nor a kitchen table.....) Oh well, more for me!

Hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend, and nobody got trampled at the black Friday sales. It was amazing how much traffic there was when I got off work at 3am!
