If I can but in here. It looks like you have some very good ideas how to deal with this. I have one suggestion (if I may). Make a very strong point that if ANY animals appear to be in poor health you will be asked to remove all of your animals. See the idea of having to pack up and go will cause people to try harder to only take healthy. Just my .02 . OK I will go away.

It is also the buyer's responsibility to QT. We need to also remember that stress can cause symptoms to show up.

Almost all flocks have MG,.. and this can be one cause. Not everyone has access to denagard.

Yes, and stress can also cause birds to act sick that really aren't. Really stressed out birds may have diarrhea, stand fluffed up or huddled in the corner, etc. These are all symptoms of illness, but they can also be stress related.

Perhaps have a section of the site that explains how to health check and what to look for in a sick bird.

Most of the buyers hadn't ever raised chickens before and didn't know that stuff.

Maybe make some flyers to hand out to people and have a couple of posters hung up.

I really like these ideas... I will see about adding a page, or having one of the older 4H kids in my group put together some information for the website as a project.
I appreciate all the useful input, this is definitely a buyer beware situation
