Oregon Spring Poultry Swap May 5, 2012 in Canby!!!

Hey everyone! As some of you know my 5 month old silkie roo, Elmer, has been suffering from wry neck. I've been giving him poly-vi-sol and vitamin E. His neck has straightened out and he has started to crow. The problem is that now that he has started to crow I can't keep him, which breaks my heart!

I'm looking for someone to take him and keep him on his meds. He's a sweetheart and I'm sending his girlfriend Rielee with him to keep him company.

In the meantime he has developed a few red bumps under his beak and some white dots on his feathers under his beak. Does anyone know what they are? Or how to treat this?

The white dots look like lice eggs. Dust him with Sevin dust. It's at the feed store in the pesticides section of the garden area. The red bumps look like his wattles are growing in. :)
