Oregon

I think I'm going to try and talk my husband into going with me to this show. I don't know exactly where it is but I'll go to website and search it

If you go out I-84 to exit #44 (Cascade Locks) go across the Bridge of the Gods ($1 toll bridge) take a right once you get across the bridge, there will be a small sign that says "Fairgrounds" (this is also the turn for Skamania Lodge, so that might be a better sign to look for) that puts you on Rock Creek Rd, the Fairgrounds will be on your right.

It's right at an hour from my house in Canby.

Cloverleaf, did you get my paypal for the blue pullet?
I have been having a flareup of my Rhumatoid Arth. but I'm determined on going to Stevenson on saturday, I went back on prednisone today so I should be great by then. Also get a Humara injection by then.
You said you will be near the Ameracana Breeders Club stand, can't remeber the other one you said, will find you there.

Yep, sure did. I will have the ABC / Faverolle club table. (I'm district rep for both, so they'll be at one table).

I'm here in Milwaukie! I just saw an add on Craigslist for the Stevenson show, I really need to go. I've never been to a big poultry show before and I really hope I can make it! Is it just on the 15th? Or is it on the 16th as well?

Any way I have been looking for same chicks (I know, it's a little late), and was wondering if anyone within an hour radius of Portland had any young chicks for sale?

The best day where you'll see the very most is the 15th. On the 16th, it's pretty much just awards, and then people start cooping out and going home. You could walk through and look at birds, etc early on Sunday (if you were there by 9 at the latest) but you wouldn't get to see EVERYTHING and not too many people will have time to just chat with you, answer questions, etc.

Oh Wow, she's pretty. Do you sell fertilized eggs of her kind?

Thanks! But no, she was an "accident"...I bought some hatching eggs from someone and only found out later that she had all her colors mixed together...

Her daddy was a salmon and her mom was a mottled...we think...anyway, she's super sweet and fun to look at. I might pair her up with a black rooster in the spring just to see what happens...
