Hello, I live in Eastern Oregon near Pendleton. I love this site. I have learned a ton about chickens. My first batch are almost a year old.

Vancouver Washington. its cold and the fog is killing every plant i own. my chicks are inside with the heat lamp. when they are big enough, i will send them out to breed with the eagles and hawks in my neighborhood.

It was a glorious day today east of the mountains here in Central Oregon. I was horseback riding in a T-shirt! Even a sweatshirt was too warm until the sun started to go down about 5PM. Maybe winter will come to an end. How was everyone else's day here in Oregon?

Sully 707, My son and family live in Vancouver, WA. It is beautiful when it is sunny but we have watched a lot of little league baseball and soccer games in the rain and mud when we have come to visit. Hope that your fog goes away soon!

Redfeathers- We went to Gina's...it was so yummy! The woman working was very nice to us. At first she was kind of aloof, but I told her a friend recommended them and that we were new there. She was great after that. I has the chow mien stir fry and my mom had a special stir fry with rice. Anyway, thanks for sending us there-it's great!
