I've hatched very few chicks but I would rather breed birds that have a natural resistance.

That's what I do, natural selection. Only the strong survive. I expose day old chicks to shavings/poo/dirt from the coop to begin building resistance to cocci. I don't used medicated feed. I use ACV in their water and Fermented Feed to create a hostile gut environment.

Thanks guys! We candled them today, and we saw 4 the are alive, 1 that may be alive and 2 that never formed
