So here is the Splash Laced Red Wyandotte bantam I got from Cloverleaf yesterday. It is so small, even smaller than my chick that hatched two days later.

Came home to a nice surprise today... A new breeding pen for the Wyandottes! We made it kinda soundproof since I live in the city and I'm not supposed to have roosters. Not the best pic, but here it is:

I was told by my friend the theory with certain silkie toe issues is the temperature when they are being incubated, I found that fascinating.
 
I just got a Splash Laced Red Wyandotte chick today from Cloverleaf's son. It's a bantam. And my broody took it with no problem. I pulled out the one chick that she hatched and put both chicks in one hand and put them both back under her. She just clucked away to them.
