Make sure to search on here about aggressive roosters and how to handle them. At my little farm, first attack on a human will be the last. There are too many good roosters in the world to deal with one that attacks people. When mine has shown the slightest form of aggression(wing flaps, flaring hackles, head lowering) I have dealt with it immediately and made sure he knows I AM the ALPHA ROOSTER.

so if i search aggressive rooster on here it will tell me how to ve alpha rooster

Hey guys, hubs and I are looking for friends to make and visit or come out to visit. We dont have kids or dont mind them we are just bit... lonely for company. Garden home is a little triangle of unincorporated Washington County. It's between Portland, Tigard and Beaverton.
Of course, there may be more than one Garden Home, but that's the one that I'm in.

I can walk through the streets and see many houses with chickens, and one place had a big tom turkey "protecting" the front yard.

Funky there is some great advise in that forum you could use, try the advise given. The vets are your best bet for something like that anyways.

Hi there! Thanks a lot! I've been reading a lot and everything is starting to look up for her now. I was waiting on the vet because it isn't all the way through her beak, more like "peeling." It looks somewhat painful but not life threatening. I was sooo close to taking her to the vet last night, and then she finally drank water for me.

Usually they will stratch at the ground and pull their wing out, and rub it on the ground, with their head low. But they do that when they are about to attack tho
