Congratulations!,

My daughter and I had to leave just after 10am for another engagement. Wish I could have stayed and seen the final results of the judging.

Had a great time, even though it was a short time.

Got our coop started yesterday! Our friend who is a carpenter decided we were getting a mega structure! So it's 3 feet taller and 4 feet longer than we planned. But it's going to be great! That's my daughter "hammer helping".

ok yesturday was the first egg weve gotten in almost a week but the other three have not begun to lay the one that did is the ooldest by about a month so idk checked for mites and gunna set a rodent trap could a rodent stress them enough not to lay?

Mine were affected. I went out late one night to close up the coop and there were 2 rats in the coop. The rats were running along the roosts over the top of the chickens feet. They were also running along the roof joists and the floor. It took me a few days to trap them and I closed the pop door at night after making sure I wasn't trapping a rodent inside. They were back to normal about 7 days later.

Drat!

I don't do facebook - so guess I'm out of luck. I was hoping to find some New Hampshire pullets.

I guess I'll look elsewhere!
I will check the want/bring list and get back to you
