Sorry, I said chicks instead of chickens. I know that you just got 3 new loud ones and I think earlier this month some others. in your BYC page all I see is 2 or 3 RIR B's. that is what I ment. I need to do the same with my page now that mine are more than fuzz butts.

OK, there is no way for me to say this without sounding like a total ***female dog***, but WHY on earth would you enter a hatchery chicken in a show? Isn't that like adopting a mutt from the pound and thinking you could enter it in Westminster?

We just dropped DS's bird off at the fairgrounds, and in OPEN class there were EIGHT mutts that I could count that were entered as purebred birds. And there were very few cages filled this early in the day, I almost dread counting mutts tomorrow after everyone is all cooped in. I say let the 4H kids show whatever they want, but come on people...open class??!?
