Organ coming out of baby chick?

A few of my chicks are getting pasty butt. I was cleaning them and removing the caked up poop. On one of the chicks

I pulled off what I thought was poop but now there’s an organ and some blood sticking out. Is there anything that can be done?

That looks further down than the vent. Could that be the umbilical cord?
