I would like to feed organic and higher omega but still a high egg yield.. any ideas.. they only free range a couple hours a day due to living in town.. I do have a good size back yard plenty of bugs due to the woodies city park that butts up to our backyard..lol cheeper but not unhealthy. I'm a newbie

I have 3 light bramhas and 1 Rhode island red hens. They are 9 weeks old ( oh and the red is the boss)

You should check out the threads on fodder feeding. Just do a search. Super healthy and makes your feed go a lot farther.
 
I started feeding some organic non gmo feed about a month ago and I am not noticing any increase or decrease in the egg laying or anything else about the birds. They do seem to enjoy the taste of it better than the standard bagged feed. It is not cheap however and I am not sure I will continue with it because it is so expensive.
