We raised 75 ish Cornish cross meat birds over the summer. With a late, June hatch August slaughter, and a second batch of 100 with a august hatch and a slaughter date of this week at 8 weeks. Of the 175 ish 50 where raised here on organic feed, the other 125ish at a couple of different friends places, none of witch used organic feeds. We used a formula found on one Of the Hatchery web sites, we seamed to all use the same formula and feed twice daily. We did not weigh, just judged by eye. The organic group seamed to need a extra week to reach full size. We waited a week later, this week we also waited. We proceed 60 or so with 40 more waiting another week to 10 days. Has anyone else had similar Differences With organic Vs standard feeds?

also after a trip to the feed store for another bag, they seam to be out. back ordered. Is anyone else having difficulty feeding there birds?

I never used organic feed for layers or broilers. Great results with Poulin Grain Broiler Feed. You should have access to it seeing how your also in CT. Highly recommended for your future batches. I have no issue getting feed. I shop at a local mom and pop.
This time of year I suspect most stores would cut back on broiler type feeds just for the lack of demand

The feed I went for we use as a “all flock” they keep 4 bags on hand for both us and a few others in town, just keeps going on back order. Looking like we are temporarily switching to blue seal, They are the same price but it’s a 40 lbs bag vs 50. Locally we have a “factory store” and they never seam to be out. I’m guessing if your mom and pop sells blue seal feeds it comes through our store.

Why use an all flock with broilers? I think you would be better off with a broiler feed.
