I have been looking at the breed index and a lot of the breeds are listed as ''Ornamental''.
Does this mean it would not be practical to keep such breeds for egg laying? I have a really pretty bantam Cochin rooster. If he bred my Barred Rocks or my Easter Egger how small would the eggs of his offspring be?
