I’ve just gotten into English orpingtons!

So far I really love them! I have chocolate and a blue laced project for varieties.

One of the chocolate Orpington cockerels is the most spunky but sweet thing ever! He’s always hopping up on you and enjoys to be pet.

Two of the pullets are rather standoffish but incredible at foraging and being cautious!

Mine are pretty broody....
Once one goes, that's it.
I have only one BO that hasn't gone broody yet, and she's only a year old.
Suits me because I can persuade the family we need more chicks anyway.

I have some pretty good pics of my Buffs, I can post from my phone in a second, mine are sweet, one is Livia, and the other is evil queen Hazel. Hazel is actually really sweet, but since she has become Cruel King Tino's favorite pullet, she started picking on the younger pullets, and getting fat on all the treats Tino brings her.

My Buff Orpington, Fran. She’s on my lap every day.

He drives the other ones once, never brings them food, and pulls out their feathers, Hazel however, gets special treatment, and on one occasion, a poison berry.(She didn't eat it thank god)

Love hate relationship I guess.

None of my boys have as of yet murdered.
Although Pumpkin had a pretty good try with some polystyrene and a group of hungry hens.
He's now got his corn supply rationed and has been told not to leave the area.

Here he was teaching his son that perching on the frame of the retired polytunnel was a good idea.
His son hopped onto his back for a ride. Made me chuckle. He does it often.
Please ignore the mess. The tunnel got broken in a storm, and we haven't used it in a couple years now.

Is the chick pure buff Orphington? My Orphingtons, Hazel is the one by Tino. Liv is with the other pullets. There are a few more to lol, you can mostly tell them apart by the comb.
