Hello everyone, looking for some advice, my Orpingtons both have black feather colouring around their neck, does that mean they are mixed breed? I’ve had them about 2 months, they were 12 weeks old when I got them. I’ve also just been to my first poultry show in the weekend and couldn’t resist 2 sweet 8 month old pekin bantams. Have slowly introduced them to my 3 others one at a time, they are all sleeping happily in the coop tonight, but my Orpingtons were both picking on them. Not overly aggressive but I feel so sorry for them because they are smaller. Just the odd peck and chase. Have I made a mistake getting bantams or will they sort themselves out with my 3 bigger ones? It’s only been 2 days. They are just so lovely and adorable. I have just 5 pullets altogether now, my two orps, 2 pekins and 1 Sussex

One is a mix for sure as she has yellow legs. If they came from the same place the other one is more likely a mix as well.
