Julie, Your Orpingtons are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing the pictures. I love Orpingtons and really enjoy the photos that breeders post of their birds. I would love to have a few like yours someday. Please keep posting pictures when you have them!
 
Gorgeous. I have no clue to the history of your birds or breeding program, but your stock looks so wonderful that they look like they have been imported, honestly. You are doing a wonderful job! Keep up the good work!

As for books, there are very few books dedicated to specific breeds. They are more on discussions of several breeds. I'll look through my library and see if anything has good write up on Orps but in most bases its just a blurb of things we already know.
 
I have a book "The Orpington and it's Varieties" by E. Campbell that I bought off ebay about 2 years ago. It's reprint from the 1920's.
