I'm new at this so I could use some assistance.

For the age, the comb/wattle development and color are pronounced - this is typical of males.
The variances in shading across the body, specifically the wing, where you have the dark "patching" are a male characteristic.
The "saddle feathers" are male - see the long, flowy, feathers coming in across where his tail meets his body? The same area on a pullet would have the same rounded feathers you see on the rest of her body.
The "hackle feathers" - those on the neck - are not easily viewed in this picture, but if you examine them yourself you will likely see that they are becoming long and pointy or "flowy".
