Oh thanks! Good to knowI think she might be a Gold Sexlink. (Also called Gold Comet, ISA Brown, Red Star, and plenty of other names.)
They are often red with white in the neck feathers and the tail. But they can be any shade of red or gold, and the amount of white is quite variable. I do see white in the feathers around the base of the neck, which would be normal for a Gold Sexlink and really odd for a pure Buff chicken.
