Gold laced orp was my thought too .... but she doesn't have wyandottes and doesn't have gold laced orps? Will be interesting to see what they grow intoI’m not sure either, but it kind of looks like a golden laced Wyandotte, because of the stripes on its back. (You can’t see the stripes on the picture because it’s wings are over them.)View attachment 2668017
I sure wouldn't mind partridgeLooks partridge to me. Honestly also looks similar to my Red Orp pictured here as a chick. Update as it feathers out!

Partridge ones are so pretty! I thought my girl was going to be partridge for a while-even her juvenile feathers had markings similar to pencilling! Orpingtons are such big, beautiful birds no matter the varietyI sure wouldn't mind partridge. Have never seen reds ... Will do! Thanks
They do like like that one in the front .... sure remind me of the speckled sussex I've had. It'll be a fun mysteryCould it be a Jubilee Orpington? The coloring looks somewhat different, but thought I would put it too there.
