Hey BYC, I have bbs orpingtons and buff as well. Im curious about crossing strains. Is there a gender that produces type most consistently? Im thinking its best to breed both hens and roosters that exhibit good type, but what if i had one exemplary hen or rooster. Would it be best to breed back to a rooster with good type or a hen with good type?
