orpington x silkie broodys

Doe anyone have any experience with orpington x silkies as broodys. I am considering breeding them for this purpose. My silkies are too small to sit on a good number of eggs, so i thought if i cross them with a large breed that goes broody i mite get a large bird that is a good broody and can cover a good number of eggs and larger eggs.
