Not a problem, just didn't know where else to put this.
Today our 4 chickens were outside and encountered a crow in our neighbor's driveway. The crow and the rooster were watching each other, and the crow was making this weird noise I'd never heard from a crow before. It was almost like a sine wave beeping, like a high-pitched "bep-bep-bep uwwAAA?" if that makes any sense. I'm not sure if this is a territorial sound that was already in its vocabulary or (this would be a lot more interesting) if the crow was actually trying to sound like a chicken? The one problem is that when crows mimic sounds they do it pretty accurately.
My rooster does make an "uuuuwAAAA" sound when he sees a strange animal, though.
