orpingtons????

ok, my friend has 3 hens, and they look like orpingtons, but......they hav black in their back tail feathers???their is also a little bit of black around the neck too.....help.....i want to find out!!!!!!

they had pinkish legs....if that helps, and single comb

Without pics, it could be anyone's guess.

Yellow legs+ rosecomb= Wyandotte Pink legs + single comb= Orpington

I bought some orps from someone once and they ended up being orp/rock mix and they were the sweetest things ever! One did end up with the pink legs but a dog got her!
