OT: Wild Bird Caught by Dog (BAD Izzy!)

Too bad, Kate. You remember Cody. The Codeman was famous for doing just that. He was a danger to all birds and small creatures-the mighty hunter, he thought he was, LOL.

anytime anyone has brought me a fledging I have first asked where they found it...if known then we put it back... if not known (often kids have passed it around and it is no longer know) I put in a dark box and keep hydrated first 24 hours in a place totally away from human noises or smells... if it asks for feed I give it smashed mealworms mixed with Universal Insect feed or handfeeding formula.
Do not put in an open cage in a house... the stress will kill it.
