One of our 3 chickens is walking funny. Otherwise she seems perfectly healthy. She's alert, eating, bathing, walking, laying, drinking, being noisy, her comb is bright, no signs of bumblefoot or vent prolapse... We had her in a cage in their run for about a week to rest just in case.
We mostly notice it when she is walking up/down the ramp to their coop, which goes about 3' above the ground. She wobbles and fell off it one time. Now she's still wobbling.
The only symptoms are:
possibly has slight diarrhea
below her vent does seem more obtrusive than our other hen who is her same age, but looks only maybe slightly larger (if at all) than our 6/7 year old hen who still lays
and her vent dilates and contracts seemingly more than usual
walking with a waddle and not having very good motor control with walking
Again, she's laying normal eggs.
THANK YOU
