OUCH!

How's that dinosaur egg doing? Hope that chicken can cover it!

'That' chicken gave up on it so we put it under another hen that was already setting on a clutch. I am waiting until the 13th to candle the egg, I may have set my last clutch of pea eggs yesterday, only one more hen laying now with three eggs in the nest. The clutch I set yesterday may not develop as they had set, with me turning them daily, for ten days. I am kind of glad that they laying season is over, I have run out of room and still have 80 chicks in the garage brooders to move outside. Oh, what to do....

Update on the 13th! I think you have a good chance with the ten day eggs. Maybe not all of them but some. The eggs I got had been sitting outside in the heat, unturned, for who knows how long. That's why they were free. ;)
