The one on the left is an extra large chicken egg. The one on the right is from my baby!!!!!





I love my ducks! I can't wait till tomorrow morning and see what I get!!! It's better than Christmas!!!

Congratulations!!! You will probably get eggs of all sizes for a while. I had some huge ones with more than one yolk and some very very tiny ones with no yolk. Now they are all pretty much the same size. I was trying to figure out who was female when mine were little and would go out in the morning and actually see some of them lay eggs. They all ended up being females. My runners lay pretty good - so you should have plenty of eggs.

I remember getting my first call duck egg, I found it in the wreed bed in our pond, tasted pretty good "D

I'm a wuss, I can't take the eggs out of the nest nor blow them out or eat them. I'm to inquired to see if anything comes of these eggs. They are perfect so far, so we shall see! There is always a chance 1st timers could be good layers and brooders isn't there?
