Our 6 month old chicken ate a foam earplug

I'm so sad. I think we will find a dead chicken when we get back from vacation. Our adventurous one went in to the laundry room and ate an earplug from the floor. I'm thinking of trying to make her vomit. I haven't been successful doing this in the past. Help! Does anyone have experience with birds passing an earplug? Thank you!

I had a puppy do this. I called poison control. They said she would be ok and she was. Not at all sure about a chicken though.

I would assume your chicken will be just fine. Our chickens have eaten blue foam repeatedly, and eaten Legos, and they were fine.

Oh man, while I was away on vaca my baby chicks, well they were 15 weeks old, where at a friends house to be taken care of and a stray dog there killed three of my precious babies! I was so upset. It ruins your vaca. I’m so sorry, hope she will be fine

Our puppies once got into the insulation under our deck. Poison Control told us to feed them bread!

OH NOOO! So sorry! The culprit of our chicken deaths were: Our puppy (4 chickens) and 1 hawk (one chicken).
