Our Anniversary Present

2 girls gave us our first 2 eggs for our anniversary!!! I'm so excited. That talk (threat) I had with them this morning must have worked!!!

One laid early afternoon and the second one just a few minutes ago, I thought they laid eggs in the morning.

Interesting that both layed their first egg on the same day. It really WAS a present.

Do you think chickens know? that reminds me that the first time I got an egg from each of my three--was my birthday. We have sentimental chickens, I guess. --or maybe it was the pep (threat) talk?
