Our automatic chicken waterer!!

We put a automatic waterer in our chickens run. They love it! Fresh water all the time.

Bought the waterer at Tractor Supply.


Small red knob on left is shut off for cleaning.
White pvc is water. The gray is electric for coop.

Hook up at house.

How do you keep it clean? I couldn't keep my girls out of that water.

It does get dirty but we have a on/off switch so we can clean it out. It's been great knowing our chickens have fresh water all the time.

I have one of these automatic waterers, but I can't keep it clean. Is there any way to put a cover over it that will keep the chickens out of the water, yet still allow them to drink?
