Our best guesses... what's yours??

The EE's don't appear to be progressing as males. At ~ 9-10 weeks old, I would think think they would be much more evident.
They also don't act like young roosters.

The RIR is a pullet, but the BR seems that way, in all honesty. Just in the past 2 weeks or so has the BR comb and such begun getting more rosy red than before.
Both are the first to come all the way up to me and greet me, but that doesn't necessarily mean much.

At about 10 weeks old, could the BR be an earlier maturing pullet?

The EE is a male, no doubt.

The Sussex is a male, the Barred Rock is a male, and the bantam is also a male.

Yep! White silkie with the taller hairdo is a male too. Of course this was 8 months or so ago, but thought I may as well update in case it helps others.

i think the first Silkie is a boy, his tail isn't rounded and the feathers on his head stick up a little, and i think the second is a girl.

I have no doubts, #2 is a boy.

Then I bet our other EE is as well.
It isn't as big, but it has the same looking comb growth, what there is of it, as well, more or less.

I think what people are keying in on with your EE isn't so much the comb (althought that's part of it). I think they are looking at the coloration. You don't see many hens that color out like your little guy is. Plus, his legs are pretty stout. So, the coloration plus the comb plus the legs all point to roo.
