My daughter got her for Christmas 9 years ago - that is half her life. We didn't even know she was sick. She seemed fine; and she drifted away peacefully in her sleep last night. This is so hard.

I feel for you.

I have one that is 10 years old, one that is 5. They are the best pups in the world The sweetest, most loving animal I have ever been around.

I hope she didnt suffer. I can't handle it when one of my pups are in pain.

They say you can't replace your pets... but if you are used to having the love that they give, then get you another!

I know each time you get a new pet, its just a heartache waiting to happen. But the time they have with you makes up for that pain.

We still have our big old white boxer. Honestly, we thought he would go first. She was so full of life; and he is failing a little. He doesn't like other dogs, though - we thought about getting him a kitten.

I am so sorry. I am sitting here holding my boston right now and this made me cry. I have two and I don't know what I will do without mine. Mine are 8 years and 3 years.

Aw, Chris, I didn't mean to make you cry.

I knew that this is the place to be when something sad happens involving an animal. EVeryone here understands.

SO sorry to hear about your BT!

We have a 2yr old BT as well - her name is Rosie. She has quite the personality - so funny and mischevious & loves to cuddle with you like a cat. Here's our wild child:

Oh it is fine I was just hurting for you. Here is a pic of my Oreo.
The vet didn't thing he would live when he was born. He had to have surgery but he is doing better. He still has problems.
