Here's Trixie. She's a great horse. She neck reins and is bomb proof. She will walk right up to you in the pasture. She was originally ridden on barrels, in Civil War reenactments, and parades. We got her after my friend's husband passed away. I enjoy trail riding with her. She's 17 yrs. old and 15.5 hands tall. The pictures don't do her justice, she looks small in them. The last picture if of our neighbor Willie working her on a long line.

You mean inches?

I had the same question. Everyone I know says 15, 15.1, 15.2, 15.3, 16, etc when talking about hands. And, she is beautiful.

Was she in the Chickamunga CW reeanctment (the major National one for the year) back in 1998 or 2001...for the life of me I can not remember what year but it was a dry dust bowl of an event! But it was an awesome event!
