Our Canada Geese!

These were taken this morning. Notice the catfish ponds in the background. A second pair flew in today. No photos of the second pair yet.

Each year, I have a pair comes to my pond,my goose does not like them around and he let's me know they are there. I throw out food, but in a day or two they are gone. I only wish they would stay and have babies.

last year we had a pair nest next to our pond and raise 6 baby geese. And they just got back yesterday. we watched them splash water at each other and start to mate. My kids love the gooslings and can't wait for them to start laying. Here in NE alabama we have year round geese. Also have a pair of wild mallards mating on our pond. God i love spring.

I would love to get a few ganders. I ahve two hens but ganders are hard to come by.

We have now counted at least three pairs. They have not came back to the house area, but we see them on the pond dam and on the pond.

Hi--I dont have canadian geese but a friend of mine does. She has 4? She has had them for 2 years? She doesnt know if she has all males all females or a mix? Can someone tell me a way by sight how to figure out male from female??? thank you
