Our chicken palace has its own yard and bedroom 
We have completely snake and goanna proofed it (we hope) after losing our chickens to a 4.5metre scrub python. We converted our garden shed into the coop after cyclone Yasi did some damage to the side panels and roof, added the wire yard and connected it to a fenced yard for them to roam around in safely and scratch to their hearts content. We just sit and watch them for ages...love them
