Our Chicken Tank

Our coop was supposed to be a chicken tractor, but my husband got a little carried away--- I dubbed it the Chicken Tank, because it is so big and heavy! It does roll nicely though! We are still working on it, but I couldn't contain my excitement that the girls are actually sleeping in it and it had it's first run across the grass today! We are going to double the wheels to 12, as the weight is still too much for the current 6 wheels. I have lots of cosmetics to work on! Trim work and a few hiccups to be fixed. The green panel is the color that the coop will be and I will be adding contrasting trim accents.

I have taken photos along each step of the way, and will soon put together a post with all those photos and stories! For now, here is the Chicken Tank

I think you need a bigger horse to pull that tank!

Really though it is a very sturdy looking chicken tractor. I really like how the wheels are staggered, I bet that really helps with balancing it when you are pulling it. Good job!

Hahaha-- I didn't even think about the fact that it looks like our dog is pulling the tank, lol!!!
