I don't have an accent either. We lived in several different states when I was growing up and I dont know which one I sound like

Maybe I picked up a funny word here or there from mom... but I think I sound pretty american.

What was really funy and interesting to me... when I was a kid and we went to Aus to see the grandparents, we were there for a month... and when we got back, I thought everyone here sounded really strange. Then I noticed that I didn't sound quite so much like them anymore for a few weeks.

I just think its funny that it can happen so quickly. I know we speak what we hear the most... but I thought it should take some time before it had much affect.

ALWAYS nice to see the ordinances being changed!! I can understand the roosters but saying no chickens whatsoever is beyond me!
