Our chicks' first day outside

Whattsup BYC, my housemates and I are first time chicken-raisers. We've just moved our chickens outside to the coop. It's one of those ones that are a couple feet off the ground with a ramp. They seem happy enough, but they are mostly just pokin' around outside in the run instead of spending time inside the coop. Do they know it exists? Will they go in there when it gets brisk outside as it gets darker? I'm probably just being a little paranoid, but I want to know if there's anything we need to be doing differently, or if this situation is A-OK. We just like these little guys a lot. Haha!

. The chickens will spend most of there time outside because they are probably not sure how to use the ramp. Whenever I get new chicks I have to show the chicks how to use the ramp. It usually takes about a week. Just pick them up and put them on the ramp. Let them walk in the coop. Hope this helps
